Responsibilities
- Operate the leather or fabric cutting machine efficiently and accurately to cut patterns for sewing.
- Load rolls of fabric or leather onto the cutting machine.
- Inspect materials for quality, flaws, or defects before running cutting programs.
- Accurately cut fabric or leather according to patterns loaded in the cutting system.
- Follow all production specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and a safe, organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and use a ruler accurately.
- Strong visual accuracy to inspect materials and patterns.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Experience operating a fabric cutting machine (Gerber Z or similar systems preferred).
- Ability to read and understand cutting patterns and yardage requirements.
- Quality‑focused with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet established performance goals in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude with strong reliability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift (4 hours).

Safety Requirements
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.

Working Conditions
- Indoor, ventilated furniture manufacturing environment.
- Heated and cooled workspace.
- Temporary, short‑term role created to support production backlog.
- Employment is at‑will and will end when the project is completed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
