Savaria in Greenville, SC seeks a Sewing Machine Operator to cut fabric, operate sewing machines, trim threads, and fold products with inserts to meet the production schedule. The role requires standing and handling fabric, with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs, in a moderate-noise environment.
The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial sewing experience, along with the ability to follow established procedures and maintain safety and quality standards.
The Sewing Machine Operator performs the tasks of cutting fabric / product, operating sewing machines, trimming threads and folding product with the appropriate user inserts, ensuring that the sewing production schedule is met.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to occasionally lift and or move up to 25 lbs.
