Role Overview

The Cutter is responsible for placing blocks of cheese into an automatic cutter machine, maintaining high quality and cleanliness standards, and ensuring the operational flow of the line. The role involves observing machine operations to ensure quality and conformity to standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lifts and places blocks of cheese on the table lift for cutting.
2. Removes cheese that does not meet specifications and places it in rework.
3. Monitors cutter operation for consistent product flow.
4. Interacts with team members to maintain efficiency.
5. Communicates effectively with line workers and supervisors.
6. Performs sanitation duties as assigned.
7. Reports issues to the supervisor.
8. Attends meetings and training sessions.
9. Follows safety rules and reports unsafe conditions.

Minimum Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
2. Food manufacturing experience is a plus but not necessary.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions.
