Qualifications

• Reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are evaluated in a skills-based assessment.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Cut to Length machine operator preferred.
• Ability to navigate a computer to find, enter, and print information.
• Enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Cut to Length machine on a daily basis to process parts.
• Set up machines and assist with CNC setup when required.
• Calibrate measuring equipment and inspect outside quality specifications.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and assist with breakdowns.
• Train others on machines, work cell, or other functions as needed.
• Pull and stage feedstock for production orders.
