The role requires precise tape measure use, basic shop math, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs in a non-climate-controlled environment. A team player mindset and mechanical aptitude are essential for success at WB Industries.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read a tape measure and apply shop math.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in cutting or production preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Team player willing to jump in and help across departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and other cutting equipment with precision and efficiency.
• Read and interpret tape measures, blueprints, and part specifications - accuracy is a must.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials to size while keeping scrap and waste to a minimum.
• Identify, label, and secure all material and pallets properly.
• Perform tool adjustments and sharpening as needed.
• Assist with shipping/receiving tasks such as organizing pallets, checking in material, and staging outgoing jobs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all PPE and safety requirements.

WB Industries is looking for a Cut Operator who takes pride in accuracy and quality. In this role, you'll be hands-on with cutting equipment, measuring materials, and preparing products to meet customer requirements. You'll also assist with shipping and receiving to keep jobs moving on schedule.
