Job summary

Samuel Packaging Systems Group is seeking a dedicated general laborer to join our Birmingham manufacturing operations. You will support the mill and fabrication teams, safely operate machinery to produce carbon steel tubing, and perform routine quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to maintain production schedules and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in as a general laborer or operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to working safely.
• Can work well as part of a team and follow directions.
• Comfortable with some heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Adaptable and flexible in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Goal orientated, forward thinking and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills preferred.
• Ability to operate hand held tools and equipment; proficient at reading a tape measure a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

RESPONSIBILITIES
