FedEx Logistics in Memphis seeks an import documentation coordinator to manage US customs paperwork, classify goods, and process related documentation with accuracy. You will deliver top-tier customer service while coordinating with carriers, brokers and internal teams to ensure smooth releases.

Ideal candidates have strong data-entry skills, solid MS Office use, and the ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision. Training is provided onsite.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; no industry experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience using computer systems and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service and timely information to importers.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various sources.
• Process import-related documentation and handle PGA duties as needed.
• Maintain and update shipment records in compliance with policies.
• Work with internal teams, carriers, brokers, and customers to ensure service quality.
• Handle remote filings and ensure adherence to importing/exporting regulations.
