Job summary

You will examine invoices and air waybills, research tariff codes, and coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service and preferable experience in transportation or customs, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Overtime is required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and web-based applications.
• This position requires access to secured airport areas and SIDA badge process.

Responsibilities

• Make contact with customers to obtain correct documentation for US Customs regulations.
• Research tariff codes through government websites.
• Process extension and cancellation requests for shipments.
• Comply with regulations by providing missing information.
• Maintain communication with all departments (internal/external).
• Review documents for customs clearance requirements.
• Communicate shipment status with origin/destination locations.
• Verify shipment documents for accuracy.
• Assign shipments for correction
