Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Customs Brokerage specialist in Kentucky to handle CBP transactions, manage entries, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires 2–3 years of brokerage experience, relevant licenses or certifications preferred, and strong documentation accuracy.

Ideal candidates will conduct research, coordinate with brokers and internal teams, and communicate effectively with clients and CBP to maintain compliant clearance processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Customs brokerage.
  • U.S. Customs Brokerage License preferred.
  • Certification in customs compliance or related area preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, processes, and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Computer literacy in customs management software and MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

  • Perform Customs business activities.
  • Transactions with U.S. Customs (CBP).
  • Conduct effective research.
  • Communicate with clients and CBP.
  • Manage Customs entries and monitor clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Maintain required documents under 19 CFR 163.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customs brokers.
  • Support development of customs compliance procedures.
