The role collaborates with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers, with preference for candidates having customs brokerage or freight forwarding experience. Recent grads in logistics-related fields are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in customs brokerage, imports, freight forwarding, logistics, or customs clearance is preferred.
• Relevant education in International Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics may be considered in place of experience.
• Fluent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, or another Asian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customs entries and import/export documentation.
• Clear imported goods through U.S. Customs and coordinate final delivery.
• Track shipments and provide customers with timely status updates.
• Confirm customs clearance, freight release, and shipment availability.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouses, truckers, and customers.
• Classify products using the appropriate tariff codes.
• Calculate applicable duties, tariffs, and fees.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and logistics partners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Specialist to support import operations and help ensure shipments are cleared and delivered efficiently. This role works closely with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, truckers, customers, and internal departments.

Candidates with customs brokerage or freight forwarding experience are preferred. Recent graduates with relevant coursework in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or international business are also encouraged to apply.
