Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking a skilled Customs Compliance Coordinator in the United States (SC area) to act as the liaison between importers, freight forwarders, and government authorities. You will manage daily customs processes, ensure accuracy of documentation, and support operational efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, a college degree, and strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and organization skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Teamwork is strongly desired.
  • Familiar with customs clearance procedures (import/export).
  • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs policy.
  • Proficient with Excel and Word.
  • Ability to learn various computer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as focal point of contact for existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate daily customs clearance and monitor brokers' procedures and reports.
  • Implement SOPs to meet customer requirements.
  • Data entry and document checks in systems with Documentation.
  • Prepare and review invoices, cost checks, and job closing.
  • Support manager in customer meetings for better communication and cooperation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the team leader.
