Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Customs Entry Specialist in Seattle to process entries, verify data, and ensure compliance with CBP regulations.

You will resolve entry issues, coordinate with CBP and other agencies, review client requirements, and handle billing entries. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in customs entry/processing.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems such as Cognos, SAP.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with CBP or other government agencies preferred.
• Experience with CargoWise (C1) preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customs clearance, ensuring data and documents are available.
• Investigate, resolve and communicate entry issues.
• Review client requirements related to accounting, credit and billing.
• Work directly with CBP and other government agencies.
• Enter all billing charges into the system.
• Participate in ISO audits and documentation updates.
• Other duties as needed.
