Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Junior Customs Account Analyst to join our team in a role focused on processing shipments and handling customs documentation with guidance from senior staff. You will ensure accuracy, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with clients and brokers in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires basic MS Office skills, up to 1 year of related experience, and familiarity with customs brokerage software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
• Preferred experience with customs brokerage software.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of the LVS program (CND Only).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Customs/Logistics industry related experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers.
• Prepare customs and internal documents accurately with guidance when necessary.
• Handle client queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Contact clients or other brokers to request additional documents or information if needed.
• Respond to calls and questions from internal and external sources.
• Trace shipments and set up pre-arrivals at Customs.
• Proper escalation and reporting of any issues or delays to Team Leader.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

The Role

This position is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and entering customs documents. In this role you will be processing shipments using standard operating procedures. May obtain additional information or seek guidance from more senior team members.

Physical Demands
