Job summary

InVision Human Services is hiring a Vocational Specialist to advocate for individuals facing barriers to traditional employment and guide them through discovery, customized employment planning, and job development. You will work with employers to analyze needs, negotiate terms, and create sustainable supports for job placement.

The role emphasizes person-centered planning, coordination across funding sources, and training for employers and staff, with a focus on safe, compliant, client-centered

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; six months to obtain nationally recognized Employment Professional certification.
• ACRE/CESP certifications are valued for roles in employment services.
• Certification in Customized Employment preferred per agency standards.
• Experience working with people in a service capacity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for job seekers to identify employment opportunities.
• Coordinate benefits analysis and supported employment plans.
• Conduct discovery, assessment, and job development activities.
• Negotiate employment terms and assist with job site onboarding.
• Maintain timely, accurate service notes and documentation.
