Johnsonville, LLC - Customization Backup Material Handler

Pay Range: $23.77/hr - $24.26/hr + $0.60/hr upon completion of training + $1.50 Shift Premium

Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands)

Position Overview:

The Customization team works with various members from other areas of Johnsonville to customize products (code dating, sleeving, banding, etc.) for several domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Customize store orders - Code date individual packages with dates.
2. Organize customization schedule and facilitate work and coordination of production schedule duties for daily activities.
3. Work on SAP - Utilize SAP reports for customer orders.
4. Communicate with internal customers - Schedule orders in line with production.
5. Work with a team to achieve World Class results in safety, Member development, OPE, and other efficiencies.
6. Work with state-of-the-art technology.
7. Participate actively in our daily TAILGATE meetings and project teams to make Johnsonville the Best Company in the World.
8. Enhance your skills and career.
9. Set personal and team goals to achieve "superlative" performance supporting The Johnsonville Way.

Experience:

• Manufacturing experience in a team environment preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Strong math skills.
• Problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Previous forklift or pallet jack experience and certification required.
• Ability to learn and operate labelaire, case taper, case labeler, and banding machine to maintain/improve efficiencies.
• Ability to meet customer needs and expectations consistently.
• Ownership of personal and team safety.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly.
• Proficiency in English, based on business necessity.
