The opportunity

Salesforce.com Solution Architects lead enterprise Salesforce.com implementations across all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test, and deployment. After winning a project, you will serve as the main contact for the client, managing the project to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.

As a Manager in Solution Architecture, you will bridge complex business problems and innovative technical solutions. Your role involves understanding business requirements and defining architecture solutions that translate these into effective results, guiding technical decisions aligned with business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

You will focus on managing and delivering quality technology solutions, engaging in process improvement and innovation. Responsibilities include:

• Developing solutions for complex problems and recommending policy changes.
• Establishing procedures affecting your immediate work area and possibly broader functions.
• Using judgment to select methods and evaluation criteria for results.

Skills and attributes for success

You need a strong set of technical and business skills, including:

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable leading discussions at all levels
• Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM and end-to-end implementations
• Salesforce integration experience and middleware tools proficiency
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce features like APEX, VisualForce, APIs, and AppExchange
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience
• Ability to design solutions and identify gaps between current and future states
• Project management skills to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Risk management and change management capabilities

Minimum qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant Salesforce implementation experience with teams of 5 or more, including hands-on configuration and customization
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with relational databases
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MIS, Mathematics; Master’s preferred
• Certifications and consulting experience highly valued

What we offer

Our comprehensive compensation includes a salary range of $137,700 to $252,400 in the US, with higher ranges in NYC, Washington, and California.
