Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd seeks a Customer Service Representative specializing in tint paint and wood coating products to join our Pittsburgh team. You will handle customer inquiries, process orders, provide quotes, and support the tint/color matching team in product availability and order details.

The role involves showroom assistance, training to mix tint/coating materials, and collaboration with outside sales reps to drive sales.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer support role, especially related to building materials or kitchen and bath cabinetry
• Expertise with paint, wood coatings, solvents, finishes, or other finishing materials
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Team-oriented, shows initiative
• Strong sense of drive and creativity
• Proficient with Word and Excel
• AS400 experience a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Excel/Word/Outlook for daily responsibilities
• High School graduate, some college courses preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from customers placing orders and provide sales quotes
• Receive and manage inbound paint and wood coating/tint materials
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives on orders and quotes
• Assist tint and color matching team with product availability and order details
• Train to mix and prepare tint/coating materials
• Assist showroom customers with questions and orders
• Solicit new or complimentary sales in showroom and by phone
• Research product solutions for field-project issues
• Restock showroom and perform cycle counts as needed
• Frequent pushing, moving, and lifting up to 60 lbs; exposure to paint and coatings
