They are a recruiting firm searching for candidates on behalf of a fintech startup focused on providing financial tools for businesses and consumers, with the goal of making products and services more accessible to people in Latin America.

Our client Currently has two main products:

  • Pago is a financing solution that allows affiliated businesses to offer their products and services in monthly or bi-weekly payments for up to 24 months, with amounts up to 200,000 MXN.
  • Cash is a personal loan that customers can access after paying a portion of their first loan. It's a simple process: as a customer, you can receive a loan of up to 200,000 MXN in your bank account with just a few clicks.

The hiring company was founded in 2019 and has since experienced rapid growth. To date, they have helped thousands of customers finance their purchases in various verticals such as furniture, electronics, and medical services, among others. This growth has led to recognition as one of Forbes' 30 business promises in 2022 and has attracted the attention of renowned international investors such as Y Combinator, Accel, and Architect Capital.

About the Job

As a Customer Support Specialist at the company, you will be the primary point of contact for customer and business inquiries and requests. You will provide exceptional and empathetic service by understanding their requests and offering efficient solutions and clear answers. You will also work collaboratively with other teams to find the best solution and experience.

What They're Looking For

  • 8+ months of experience in customer service handling various written communication channels and calls.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Impeccable spelling, grammar, and writing skills. You have the ability to write formally and informally and adapt to the company's tone.
  • You are a highly motivated person who works well in a team.
  • You have high emotional intelligence and are able to build relationships.
  • You are very organized. You can adapt to solving multiple problems at once and provide concise communication.

What You'll Typically Do

  • Provide immediate support for requests received in writing, whether via chat, email, web widget, or phone call.
  • Provide immediate support for requests generated by the internal team in the company's communication channels.
  • Demonstrate excellent effective communication and empathy skills.

Salary Range

Commissions up to $4,000 MXN gross

  • Possibility of stock options based on performance
  • 15 days (and increasing) of vacation from year zero
  • Up to 18 months interest-free on purchases with affiliated businesses
