Customer Support Representative - Case Examination (Administrative)

About the Role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis' Treasury Services Department supports U.S. Treasury retail financial products, such as United States Savings Bonds. Our operations serve the general public, examine documents, and work with various computer applications.

  • Onsite work is essential, with in-office presence required 5 days a week for meetings and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
  1. Review and examine forms, legal evidence, savings bonds, and other information to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and procedures.
  2. Exceed established metrics for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  3. Maintain accurate customer records and utilize multiple software applications for data retrieval and communication.
  4. Apply department policies, controls, and guidelines; interpret regulations and suggest procedural improvements.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries via phone or written communication, providing support and clarifying policies.
  6. Support team members as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  2. At least 1 year of customer service or related experience, or equivalent education.
  3. Proficient in computer skills, including data entry and navigating multiple applications; experience with Microsoft Office and web applications.
  4. Strong customer service, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  5. U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with at least three years of legal residency.
Additional Information:

Salary ranges from $43,900 to $65,800, based on experience and qualifications.
