Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a personable Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to support facilities and patients by answering questions, processing refills, and coordinating with pharmacists. • Assist in submission of refill requests to Data Entry.

• Resolve basic customer concerns; escalate complex issues.
• Document interactions accurately in the pharmacy system.
• Coordinate with pharmacists and technicians to address patient needs.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy policies.

Provide excellent customer service to the facilities in taking orders, answering questions, referring information and phone calls to the appropriate departments.

Essential Job Functions (include the following):

• Answer incoming phone calls from patients and caregivers.

Education and/or Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB), preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracyAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
