About the job Customer Success Manager (Cybersecurity)

CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER - CYBERSECURITY

  • Location: Remote (must currently reside in the United States)
  • Visa: GC and USC only. No sponsorship available.
  • Type of job: Full-time salary. No C2C.
  • Compensation: Base salary + Performance Bonuses based on renewals, retention + company pays 100% of all benefits, great PTO, 401K Matching, equity potential.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Customer Success Manager will join a highly profitable, debt-free, and fast-growing cybersecurity organization that offers unique solutions in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Anti-Fraud solutions. This role starts as an Individual Contributor, owning the post-sales customer lifecycle, including onboarding, managing, growing, and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities include customer renewals, retention, integrations, and feedback. You will be the first formal Customer Success hire, establishing workflows and processes, with opportunities to grow into hiring and leading the team. The role requires knowledge of Cybersecurity, Data, Analytics, sales, renewal processes, customer retention, and strong communication skills (written, email, messaging, phone, presentation, outreach).

ABOUT YOU (The required skills):

  • Strong background in Customer Success within an early-stage organization or experience starting one from scratch
  • Experience in Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Intelligence, or Fraud Detection
  • Comfortable as an Individual Contributor willing to roll up sleeves
  • Experience working with small, agile teams (start-ups are a plus)
  • Familiar with CRM and workflow platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Monday.com)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, proactive, and able to keep leadership and stakeholders informed
  • Exceptional Customer Communication skills (email, written, presentation, phone)
  • Passion for Cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and fraud prevention
  • Great sense of humor
  • A Doer who is comfortable hands-on and collaborative
  • Enthusiastic about the Customer Success function

Preferred/Bonus experience:

  • Experience formalizing and growing Customer Success teams in startups
  • Cybersecurity startup experience
  • Experience selling cyber threat intelligence, cyber data, API/Data solutions

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Develop and implement onboarding and communication processes
  • Provide integration and technical support
  • Manage customer contract renewals and related communications
  • Create tools and resources for onboarding Enterprise Procurement Teams
  • Coordinate with Finance for invoicing and payments
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) and account management tools (Monday.com) for tracking and analysis
  • Collaborate with legal on contracts and compliance
  • Gather and report on customer feedback and satisfaction
  • Contribute to customer support portals and self-service resources

*Initially an individual contributor role, with potential to evolve into a team leadership position.*
