Job Title: Customer Success manager: Hunter role

Location: New Jersey,

10+ years of experience in selling IT services, ideally in the Life Sciences / Pharma domain

Role Overview:

This individual will be responsible for hunting new logos, running it, managing the full sales lifecycle, and maintaining strategic alliances with key technology partners like AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the industry, a consultative selling approach, and strong relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition ("Hunter" Role):

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Life Sciences & Pharma sector.
  • Prospect, engage, and convert target accounts through direct outreach, networking, events, and inbound marketing.
  • Conduct consultative discussions to understand client challenges and propose tailored IT services (e.g., data analytics, cloud migration, AI/ML solutions, digital transformation, etc.).
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key cloud and tech partners (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
  • Drive co-selling initiatives and develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
  • Leverage partner programs to unlock new leads, gain funding support (MDF), and increase Agilisium’s visibility in partner ecosystems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partner certifications, marketing alignment, and solution readiness.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline that aligns with quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, plans, and reports using CRM tools or available internal tools
  • Track and report key performance metrics: lead conversion rates, sales velocity, and partner-influenced deals.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Act as the face of Agilisium for new prospects and strategic partner teams.
  • Maintain post-sale engagement for key accounts won, ensuring a smooth handoff to delivery while nurturing upsell opportunities.
  • Understand client needs deeply to cross-sell other Agilisium services and solutions across the value chain (R&D, Clinical, Commercial, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in selling IT services, ideally in the Life Sciences / Pharma domain
  • Proven track record of winning new accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and their application in the pharma industry.
  • Experience working with or managing technology partnerships and channel alliances.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
