Overview: The Lane Bryant Customer Specialist Sales Leader is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment through customer engagement and operational leadership. Building enduring relationships with customers contributes to the achievement of company goals.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Service
  • Utilizes company resources to enhance the brand experience and foster relationships.
  • Shares product knowledge, fit, and fashion trends to inspire and build trust.
  • Plans and organizes customer contacts to build meaningful relationships.
  • Participates in community and store activities that promote the brand.
  • Uses a Monthly Playbook to track customer engagement activities.
  • Supports total store sales through effective floor supervision in the absence of management.
Business Acumen
  • Stays informed about the business landscape, fashion trends, and key drivers to enhance customer experience.
  • Balances customer service and operational tasks to ensure priorities are met.
Operations
  • Supports operational functions as needed.
  • Performs opening and closing duties.
  • Prioritizes tasks to meet customer and business needs.
  • Protects assets and maintains a safe environment.
  • Follows all policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Sales or hospitality experience preferred, with a record of exceeding performance standards.
  • Ability to work at least 16 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient with mobile technology (e.g., registers, iPads).
  • Capable of moving fixtures and merchandise up to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to retrieve merchandise from above shoulder level, including climbing ladders up to 12 feet.
