Job description

Customer Solutions Manager, US FED NATSEC

Are you passionate about shaping the future of National Security by fostering innovation through customer advocacy? Do you possess the program management and technical skills to build trust with executives and project teams? Are you a problem solver motivated to promote cloud adoption aligned with your customer's mission?

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager to support our Intelligence Community customers. You will help drive growth and shape the future of emerging technologies in the Intelligence Community, focusing on project management, customer engagement, and thought leadership within an AI/ML portfolio.

Customer Solutions Managers (CSMs) advocate for customers, guiding them through cloud transformation, including value realization, enablement, and governance. This involves collaborating across AWS, engaging with customers and prime contractors to influence adoption, and developing business strategies.

This role requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance, and to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph after employment.

A day in the life

In an inclusive environment that values work/life harmony and career growth, you will be part of a diverse, global team of CSMs delivering cloud solutions that transform business and IT for our customers. Your day will involve engaging directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to support their AWS Cloud journey.

You will leverage your technical, business, and program management expertise to solve complex technology challenges, defining opportunities, and understanding risks related to large-scale migrations, data analytics, digital transformation, and more.

You will influence technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive cloud adoption strategies. You will manage business and technology projects, navigating risks in dynamic environments, and serve as a customer’s cloud journey coach, advocating for their needs within AWS.

You are expected to share best practices internally and pursue certification as a Solution Architect within the first year. This role may require 10-15% travel depending on location and timing.

About the team

Our worldwide Public Sector CSMs are advocates helping customers innovate in the cloud, guided by customer needs, data, excellence, and agility. We value diverse experiences and encourage applicants from varied backgrounds, even if they do not meet all preferred qualifications.

Why AWS

AWS is the leading cloud platform, trusted by startups and Fortune 500 companies alike, committed to continuous innovation and customer success.
