Role Description
This is a full-time remote role based in one of the states we currently operate in: California, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Washington, Colorado or Georgia.
- We're looking for a Customer Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of people, product, and data. You'll lead client onboarding, configure complex customer setups, manage support workflows, and ensure a seamless customer experience—all while working closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process: Configure customer accounts, load and validate employee data, and tailor platform settings to ensure a successful go-live
- Own customer integration work: Coordinate setup of key integrations (e.g., HRIS, ATS, or SSO systems), including gathering requirements, tracking tasks, and validating implementation.
- Create and manage project plans: Develop and maintain detailed master project plans across all customer onboarding and enhancement initiatives.
- Train customer admins on product features, workflows, and best practices to drive confident adoption.
- Serve as a technical partner to Sales during late-stage deals, helping scope implementation complexity and timelines.
- Manage support channels: Own the customer ticket queue via HubSpot, triage and troubleshoot issues, and communicate resolutions clearly.
- Track and manage issues: Use Jira to file, track, and communicate the status of bugs, enhancements, and feature requests reported by customers.
- Act as a solutions engineer post-sale: Understand customer data models and compensation structures, then implement tailored configurations in CandorIQ
- Leverage AI tools to manage workload more efficiently: triaging and drafting responses to tickets, summarizing technical issues, and speeding up product training and documentation.
- Build and evaluate new AI-driven use cases for Customer Success, piloting tools and workflows that could reduce manual work across onboarding, training, and support, and sharing what works with the broader team.
- Continuously optimize internal processes for onboarding, training, and support.
What You Bring
- 4-5 years of experience in Customer Success or Solutions Engineering focused on Compensation/HR tech or Fin Tech solutions.

- Strong skills in ticketing systems like HubSpot and Jira, with a proven ability to manage, route, and resolve customer issues end-to-end.
- Experience running SQL queries and scripts
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data imports, and system configurations.
- Excellent communicator—especially with HR and Finance stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with a bias toward action and clarity.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to manage day-to-day workload, draft customer communications, and speed up troubleshooting.
Bonus Points
- Experience working with HRIS, compensation tools, or people data systems
- Exposure to API-based integrations or technical troubleshooting
- Experience evaluating or piloting AI tools for customer success, support, or onboarding workflows
- Experience in an early-stage, high-growth startup environment
