Job summary

Apera is seeking a Customer Solutions Architect in the San Francisco Bay Area to own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise clients. You will translate complex business requirements into clear architectures and practical plans for engineering teams, while guiding deployments and shaping the evolution of the company’s AI-enabled solutions.

In this architecture-led role, you’ll work closely with customers, engineers, delivery teams and product stakeholders to tackle challenging problems

We're recruiting a Customer Solutions Architect for an innovative, venture-backed technology company applying AI to complex enterprise challenges.

This is a key individual contributor role for an architect who enjoys working directly with customers, solving ambiguous problems and turning business requirements into practical technical solutions.

The role

You'll lead solution architecture from customer discovery through technical design and implementation, translating complex workflows into clear architectures and actionable plans for engineering teams.

Working closely with engineers, delivery teams and product stakeholders, you'll guide solution development, support customer deployments and help shape the evolution of the company's technology.

This is an architecture-led role with practical technical involvement, offering the opportunity to solve challenging problems across multiple enterprise environments.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in solution, enterprise or technical architecture.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into system designs and actionable engineering plans.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML, particularly GenAI and LLMs.
• Experience guiding engineering teams through technical design and implementation.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, cloud platforms or enterprise SaaS.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on coding or prototyping experience is beneficial.
