Arrcus is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for Customer Solution Engineering in San Jose, CA. You will spearhead qualification of ultra-complex deployments and own critical escalations, bridging field deployments with development and product management.

You will design multi-dimensional test architectures, mentor junior engineers, and ensure production-readiness for next-gen networking use cases at scale. Strong Python automation and Linux troubleshooting are essential.

Qualifications

Role Overview

The Technical Lead for Customer Solution Engineering at Arrcus will spearhead the qualification of ultra-complex customer deployment scenarios and own the technical resolution of high-priority customer escalations. In this senior individual contributor and technical leadership role, you will bridge the gap between field deployments, Development and product management. You will design multi-dimensional test architectures, guide junior engineers, and ensure production-readiness for next-generation networking use cases at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Escalation & Deployment Ownership: Lead the root-cause analysis and end-to-end resolution of critical, high-impact customer network escalations and complex live deployment roadblocks.
• Solution Architecture & Validation: Qualify, production-grade customer use cases in simulated lab environments, mirroring massive multi-dimensional scales.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor team members on analysis, debugging techniques, and robust test framework design.
• Advanced Automation: Drive the continuous evolution of automation frameworks and scale-out testing pipelines using Python and shell programming.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 10 to 15+ years of experience in system test engineering, customer solution engineering, or advanced technical support within the networking industry.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities under pressure, clear communication skills for executive and customer-facing discussions, and a collaborative leadership mindset.

Networking Expertise:

• Deep domain knowledge in IPv4/IPv6/Multicast forwarding, MPLS VPNs, EVPN, and High Availability (HA) features.
• Strong architectural understanding of Layer 2, Layer 3, MPLS, and Multi-Service routing and switching protocols.

Troubleshooting & Tools:

• Expert-level hands-on experience with high-scale traffic generator equipment (Spirent / IXIA).
• Advanced proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments for deep system and network troubleshooting.
• Programming & Frameworks: Strong command of Python , with a proven history of building or scaling robust test system.

Base Salary

$185000-$210000 Per Year
