Customer Solutions / Electronics EngineerDigital Dynamics Inc.Position OverviewThe Customer Solutions / Electronics Engineer at Digital Dynamics Inc. is an experienced individual contributor responsible for serving as a key technical interface between customers and DDI’s engineering teams. This role supports both pre-sales and post-sales technical activities, ensuring that DDI’s electronic hardware, embedded systems, and software solutions are effectively applied to customer applications in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, and other mission-critical environments.The engineer works closely with customers to understand application requirements and translate them into technical solutions utilizing DDI products and technologies. The role also supports system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal engineering teams.Key responsibilities include designing electronic circuits, components, and systems, as well as conducting tests for telecommunications, aerospace, navigation, and other advanced industrial and automation applications.Key Responsibilities• Design, evaluate, and support development of electronic circuits, components, and embedded control systems used in industrial automation, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, telecommunications, aerospace, and navigation applications.• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware systems including circuit boards, I/O controllers, motion control systems, and embedded control platforms.• Serve as a primary technical interface with customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions.• Support system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDI electronic control systems in customer environments.• Interpret electrical schematics, PCB documentation, and system architecture diagrams to diagnose issues and support product implementation.• Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, Software, Systems, and Test Engineering teams to support product development, system validation, and technical problem resolution.• Assist with design verification, prototype testing, and performance analysis of electronic systems and subsystems.• Develop technical documentation including application notes, technical manuals, training materials, and implementation guides.• Provide technical training and support to customers, partners, and internal teams.• Support trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations to showcase DDI technologies and solutions.• Capture customer feedback and technical requirements to inform future product improvements and engineering roadmaps.• Travel to customer sites as needed to support system integration, troubleshooting, and technical collaboration.Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, embedded systems, or industrial control systems.• Experience designing, testing, or troubleshooting electronic circuits and electronic hardware systems.• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including motion control, I/O systems, and embedded control platforms.• Experience interpreting electrical schematics, PCB documentation, and hardware design specifications.• Experience working with embedded systems and firmware environments.• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python.• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems used in engineering environments.• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex electronic systems.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional engineering environments.• Willingness to travel moderately to support customers and industry events.Preferred Qualifications• Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment, industrial automation systems, or mission-critical control systems.• Experience with electronic circuit simulation, PCB design review, or hardware validation.• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and control system architectures.• Experience with functional safety standards such as IEC 61508 or EN ISO 13849-1.• Experience contributing to product roadmaps through customer insights and technical feedback.
