Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a Customer Service Associate/Delivery Driver in Town of Pelham, NY. The role offers a pay range of $18.00+ DOE and centers on delivering products and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing product information, assisting with pricing decisions, stocking shelves, processing returns, and following delivery routes and safety regulations. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience to greet and assist customers.
• Strong communication skills to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive/deliver orders.

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers
• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Valid professional driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate/ Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service for our business and distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate)
