Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply in Duncanville, TX is seeking dependable team members for an operations role spanning customer service, warehouse work, inventory support, and local deliveries. Training is provided; prior outdoor supply experience is a plus.

Candidates should be able to lift 50–70 lbs and work on a daily delivery route in a fast-paced environment. Pay rate ranges from $18 to $20 per hour DOE; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Must be comfortable on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks
• Must be comfortable delivering on a daily route in a commercial vehicle

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers and greet them.
• Provide accurate information on product features, pricing and after-sales services.
• Answer questions about products/services and compare prices/features to aid purchases.
• Cross-sell products and ensure racks are stocked; manage returns.
• Coordinate with the team to deliver excellent customer service, especially during peak times.
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers; gather feedback for the Store Manager.
• Deliver a variety of items to different addresses, follow routes/time schedules, load/unload and inspect delivery vehicle.
• Take feedback from clients and resolve complaints; stay informed about new products and services.

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)

• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

• Prior Outdoor Supply Industry Experience
• Must be comfortable working most of your shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks, such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above your head.
• Must be comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate)
• Proven work experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role.
