Job summary

Johnson Outdoors is seeking a customer service representative to provide excellent support to dealers, sales reps, and customers via phone and email. You will enter orders, resolve issues and maintain up-to-date records on communications, while assisting with upsells and cross-sell opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma and about 1 year of customer service experience, with strong communication and basic math skills; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries, resolves routine issues and educates and acts as a resource on company products via phone, email and other methods as appropriate.
• Documents inquiries, issues and resolutions, and education provided as required.
• Performs upselling and cross selling to dealers including new products, backorder items, replacements and promotions.
• Enters orders into the system and resolves order questions.
• Issues credits and returns, obtains return authorizations, processes bills and participates in collecting cash as needed.
• Coordinates setting up, maintaining and closing dealer accounts in collaboration with other departments.
• Runs routine reports and creates reports to support department activities.
• Responsible for international documentation, invoicing, shipping and tracking orders where applicable.
