Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is seeking an Assistant Customer Service Manager at our Clinton Township location. The role supports the Customer Service Manager with directing and supervising department operations to ensure top customer service.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and prior cash handling and customer service experience; management experience is preferred. This on-site position includes benefits and requires availability for mornings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience preferred.
• Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer service manager with directing and supervising all department functions and personnel to ensure productivity and excellent customer service.
• Assist with cash management, line flow, scheduling, attendance tracking, refunds, audits, etc.
• Focus on delivering superior customer service.
• Train and develop cashiers and courtesy clerks for efficient results.
• Operate cash register following cash management guidelines.
• Ensure cashiers receive prompt price checks.
• Promote high standards of customer service across the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
