Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Service Desk Team Leader to oversee front-line customer support and lead a team of service associates. You will drive customer satisfaction, manage daily operations, and mentor staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Responsibilities include guiding the service desk, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting in-store programs such as Shopper’s Club, refunds, and exchanges, with opportunities for development and advancement

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations.
• Computer skills sufficient to operate standard POS and retail software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers and collaborate with colleagues.
• Identify solutions or resources to assist customers promptly.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Administer Shopper’s Club program, assist at checkout, process refunds and exchanges.
• Assist with lottery machines, issue gift cards, sell stamps and maintain the bottle return room (location varies).
• Coach and develop team members through training and feedback.

What You'll Do
