Customer Service Specialist - Revo Health

Join to apply for the Customer Service Specialist - Revo Health role at Revo Health.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. After training at our Corporate Office in Bloomington, the role will be remote.

The Customer Service Specialist will demonstrate excellent customer service and documentation skills while communicating with patients, family members, clinic personnel, or outside vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate all pertinent patient information, including appointment details, directions, check-in times, referral info, and copayments. Follow up on billing questions, concerns, and denied or rejected claims. Document all communication according to policy.
  • Maintain professional communication with patients, clinic staff, and vendors via phone, email, or written documentation.
  • Understand healthcare plan requirements and networks.
  • Verify and document insurance information as per current practices.
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOB), research denials, and handle account adjustments, transfers, or changes.
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and document accordingly.
  • Handle inbound calls via the Centralized Scheduling line.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in healthcare billing or accounts receivable is preferred.
