Job summary

GT Independence is seeking a Customer Service (Self Determination) Support Specialist to assist self-directing individuals by phone. The role involves handling calls, entering data for records, sending documents via DocuSign, and ensuring compliance for audits.

A team-based environment supports timesheet review and payroll checklists. The position offers a hybrid schedule after 90 days (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with possible full remote work after one year of employment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• Competent in Microsoft Office and Internet

Responsibilities

• Make and receive phone calls to support external and internal stakeholders
• Enter information into databases, such as a call log, for effective record keeping
• Prepare and send documents via DocuSign or email and assist customers in returning documents
• Manage DocuSign accounts and support issues from the operations staff and customers
• Ensure all compliance standards are met for audit purposes
• Timesheet reviewing and time tracking
• Accurately and efficiently complete payroll checklists for assigned agencies
• Work with your team leader to identify strategies for reducing errors
• Collaborate with your team to resolve rejected timesheet issues

As a Customer Service (Self Determination) Support Specialist or SDSS, you’ll work on a team to deliver great customer service, over the phone, to people self-directing their care as well as other stake holders.
