State of Washington Dept. of Labor & Industries is seeking a Customer Service Specialist 2 in Spokane to independently process licensing, registration, and permits while guiding customers through L&I services.

You will educate customers about claims, accounts, and permitting processes, with travel as needed within the region. Ideal candidates have strong communication and cash handling experience, and a commitment to equity and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of experience providing assistance to clients/customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems.
• One year of experience as a Customer Service Specialist 1.

Responsibilities

• Independently process licensing, registration & permit applications for completeness and accuracy per Statewide Standard Work.
• Assist customers using technical knowledge of business services and educate them about L&I offerings.
• Travel between multiple L&I locations regionally or statewide to provide front counter and operational support.
