61st Street Service Corporation invites applications for a Customer Service Specialist II to support ColumbiaDoctors, handling patient calls and billing inquiries.
The role is predominantly remote for residents of the Tri-State area (NY/NJ/CT) with occasional office visits for training and meetings. You will manage collections, set payment plans, and update patient records while delivering professional service.
The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors’ practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.
The Customer Service Specialist II is responsible for handling and resolving incoming phone calls from patients, insurance carriers and or physician offices. Responsibilities will include collections of outstanding patient balances, establishing payment arrangements, updating patient and guarantor account with new demographic and insurance coverage information. The Customer Service Specialist II must exhibit professional and courteous behavior at all times during patient and/or client interaction.
Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
