Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help with product selection, and ensure a smooth shopping experience at our store. You’ll engage with customers, answer questions, and support various departments as needed.

The role emphasizes friendly service, basic computer and mobile tech use, and the ability to stand for long periods and move merchandise. This position commonly involves collaboration with team members across departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones or tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by restocking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
