These include tire programs, as well as other technology and project management programs, consulting, billing, and systems solutions.
Base Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls with car dealerships, distribution centers, and automotive field managers for tire orders and returns.
- Research and track down hard‑to‑locate tires.
- Assist dealers with billing concerns including overages, shortages, incorrect pricing, and delivery disputes.
- Ensure accurate processing of orders daily.
- Act as a liaison between the dealer and manufacturers to resolve ordering, shipping, and billing disputes.
- Respond to customer requests within one business day, providing superior customer service and technical advice.
- Represent AMI with GM dealers.
- Manually process dealer credits and invoices, tire manufacturer rejection reconciliation, basic program questions and billing inquiries.
- Provide OEM fitment and tire selection support, including speed and load rating knowledge.
- Address price tape errors, price discrepancies, competitive pricing questions, warranty issues, aftermarket warranty support, tax questions, merchandising materials, and price‑match guarantee processes.
- Evaluate customer needs and determine appropriate actions.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and policy.
- Strive for one‑call resolution with every customer.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely responses.
- Resolve delivery issues and other customer concerns.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external customers.
- Complete administrative documentation and input critical notes into the contact center management system.
- Attend required training sessions and serve as a backup for other team members.

Position Requirements

- Organize and perform accurate customer service and communication tasks.
- Show strong communication skills in phone calls and emails.
- Maintain keyboarding speed and accuracy.
- Use Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, at a tire specialist level.
