Job summary

Noble Company, a subsidiary of FPC International, Inc., seeks a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support customers and internal teams. You will manage inquiries, process orders, resolve concerns, maintain customer data, and provide professional support by phone and email.

The ideal candidate is organized, can manage multiple priorities, and remains calm and professional when handling challenging customer situations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2–4 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience handling customer concerns or complaints while maintaining professional and respectful communication.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for everyday business tasks.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in challenging customer situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to cross-train and support coworkers.
  • Proficient typing and 10-key skills.
  • Previous manufacturing customer service experience preferred.
  • Freight claim experience strongly preferred.
  • ERP system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, order status, and other questions by phone and email.
  • Process and monitor customer orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Research and resolve customer concerns, including order, shipping, product, and delivery issues.
  • Assist with freight claims and coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal departments as needed.
  • Maintain a calm, professional, and solutions-focused approach when working with dissatisfied customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records, notes, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with production, shipping, and other internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Support order acknowledgments, invoicing, and other order-related activities.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and work with data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Manage multiple priorities while responding to frequent phone calls, emails, and other requests.
  • Assist with administrative projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and cross-train alongside other team members to provide coverage and support.
