Join world-class experts in finding answers to our customers' toughest questions as a Customer Service Specialist. Ocean's customer service organization is designed to accelerate and support our entire customer base. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will often be the first and last interaction our customers have with Ocean, working directly with customers, sales, engineering, and operations to support a smooth customer experience from inquiry through delivery. You will partner with customers to understand their needs, book customer orders, coordinate order scheduling, and support service offerings like repairs and calibration. You will also work closely with the internal team to continuously improve the customer experience. This is a Temp to Hire position based out of our San Mateo, CA office.
The ideal candidate brings a natural curiosity, a passion for customer service, and genuinely enjoys interacting with customers and working closely with people. A can-do attitude, collaborative spirit, and flexible work style are also essential in this role. This person should be a self-starter and bring strong experience supporting customers' needs.

The base salary range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and work location, in accordance with the applicable law. If converted to a permanent position, the role will be eligible to participate in the company's variable compensation plan, subject to the achievement of company performance goals, and will also be eligible for company benefits.
