Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a Customer Experience Associate at our Pittsburgh, PA location. This entry-level role emphasizes friendly service, quoting, and issue resolution within an in-office schedule (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM).

The position includes a 12-week paid training program and comprehensive benefits. You’ll handle quotes, shipments coordination, and client inquiries, building strong relationships while embracing change in technology and processes.

Qualifications

• General customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable handling calls and emails professionally.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes in workload.
• Proficient typing speed (40 wpm) and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide general LTL and volume quoting.
• Coordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipments.
• Trace shipments and provide freight charges.
• Process re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customers.
• Process fax and Internet requests.
• Handle Managed Accounts and special requests from customers and sales reps.
• Resolve customer issues and respond to questions, maintaining positive relationships.
• Meet monthly department telephone and email goals.
• Receive and direct incoming calls; greet visitors and provide information.
• Maintain welcoming environment and assist staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• High School Graduate or GED
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm
• Previous experience in telephone customer service/call center environment helpful
• Transportation experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Environment, particularly Excel, Word and Email
• An excellent phone voice and a colorful / dynamic personality is essential
• Comfortable with existing and constant changes in technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility with changing job duties
