Job summary

River Valley Co-op Easthampton is seeking a part-time Customer Service Shift Leader to welcome shoppers, process orders, and support daily store operations on the sales floor and on Webcart.

The role requires open availability, including evenings and weekends, and reports to the Customer Service Manager. You will supervise the Customer Service Team, manage cash handling duties, and help train staff to ensure friendly, efficient service.

• Handle cash deposits, reconciliation, and daily cash sheets.
• Train cashiers and supervise the customer service desk when required.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and accurate checkout processes.
• Process web orders and in-store purchases with proper discounts and tenders.
• Support communications and store huddles; participate in team meetings.
