Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC in Mississippi is hiring a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers and provide a great store experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales at the register, and protect company assets.

You’ll maintain stock, unload shipments, stock replenishment, and keep the store clean and presentable. Strong communication, reliability, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
