Job summary

Lowe’s Sanford, ME seeks a Customer Service Associate to help customers find products and solve home improvement challenges with friendly, knowledgeable service.

You’ll greet shoppers, answer questions, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure orders and deliveries are processed accurately while maintaining store standards. Prior retail or bilingual skills are a plus, and this role offers growth through training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months computer experience including basic data entry and information retrieval
• 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphone/tablet)
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
