Mr. Handyman of Lowell, Andover & Haverhill is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Representative / Dispatcher. The role supports inbound calls, scheduling, and client communication for home repair projects in Lowell, MA.

Part-time or full-time options are available, with a starting wage of $16–$20 per hour based on experience. The ideal candidate has sales and customer-service aptitude, strong phone skills, and is comfortable discussing homeowners’ needs.

Mr. Handyman is looking for a Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who can do more than simply answer the phone. The right person will be friendly, confident, organized, motivated by sales, and comfortable talking with homeowners about their repair and improvement needs.

Construction or home-improvement experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong sales and customer-service background and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Listen carefully to customers, understand their needs, and help identify the right service.
• Schedule estimates and jobs while keeping our service professionals productive.
• Follow up with leads and customers to increase booked jobs and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Communicate appointment details, pricing information, and expectations clearly.
• Coordinate schedules between customers, technicians, and office staff.
• Maintain accurate customer information, notes, and job details in our CRM.
• Handle customer questions and concerns and work toward a positive resolution.
• Help maximize opportunities from incoming leads and generate repeat business.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related customer-facing position.
• Excellent communication and phone skills.
• Comfortable talking with customers and confidently asking for the appointment or sale.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, scheduling software, and email.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Dependable, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, handyman services, property maintenance, or a related industry.
• Experience selling home services or working with homeowners.
• Experience scheduling technicians, contractors, or service professionals.

Don't have construction experience? That's okay. If you have at least one year of solid sales/customer-service experience, are comfortable on the phone, learn quickly, and have the right attitude, we are willing to train the right person.
