Job summary

RealtySouth is offering a CSR Trainee program in New Brighton, MN. During six months, you will learn day-to-day service and how to support clients to meet profitability and growth goals. After licensure, you may transition into a customer service role.

You will train on handling client calls, advising on coverage and processing policy changes, with a path to join our client service teams. Wage is competitive with benefits included.

Description

Purpose of Job

During a six-month training program, the CSR Trainee will learn how to provide day-to-day service and support to new and existing clients such that objectives for profitability and growth are met. Once the program is completed, and appropriate licensure has been obtained, CSR Trainee may transition into one of our customer service roles.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)

Taking direction from the Trainer, learn how to support sales programs and long-term objectives to enhance business strategy and achieve goals relative to profitability, cost control and organizational effectiveness. (75-80%)

• Learn how to handle calls from clients, underwriters and third parties.
• Learn how to advise clients regarding insurance coverage and risk management issues.
• Learn how to process policy changes and cancellations.
• Learn how to assist with claims and billing inquiries.
• Foster and maintain good working relationships with insurance companies and underwriters.

Learn how to work with existing clients to providing quotes on current lines of business, or line replacements, and cross-selling. (10-15%)

Learn how to identify and then report immediately any circumstances that may lead to potential or actual HomeServices errors and omissions claim and/or any DOI (Dept. of Ins.) or related complaints to the department manager. (0-5%)

Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned. (0-5%)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge.

Licensure:

• Obtain Property and Casualty License within 30 days of completing state pre-licensing course.

Wage: $20.00 - $24.00 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience.
