R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Patient Registration to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola.

You’ll be the first point of contact, helping patients check in, gather information, and navigate insurance details with empathy and accuracy. We offer PRN, part-time shifts with day, evening, and overnight availability, a rotating on-call schedule, and cross-training across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients during check-in across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions clearly.
• Build trust with patients during moments of illness, anxiety, or confusion.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans, enter demographics and medical data, collect co-pays and provide cost estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.

Location: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola

Shift: PRN- part time, work as needed. Open availability required for as needed shifts (must have day, evening, and overnight availability to be considered). Holiday and weekend availability is required. Shifts will range between 8-12 hours. Hours will include a rotating on-call schedule. PRN associates will be cross-trained in multiple departments as needed.

For this US‑based position, the base pay range is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
