R1 RCM is hiring a Patient Access Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL. You will ensure fast, compassionate access to care by handling check-in across multiple systems.

This frontline healthcare customer service role requires high school completion, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check‑in process working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast‑paced environment
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion
• Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collect co‑pays and provide cost estimates when applicable
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

What We’re Looking For

For this US‑based position, the base pay range is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
