Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a key contact for customers, entering orders and handling requests in a timely, courteous manner. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, providing support needed and ensuring total satisfaction.

You will take an active role in selling Graybar goods on inbound calls, assist with product selection and application, and coordinate service requests including pricing, expediting, billing, and credits/claims.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and handle requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Sell Graybar goods on inbound calls and assist with product selection.
• Coordinate order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and credits/claims.
• Provide ongoing customer service and follow up on issues.
